Yang Xuedong, director of the Sports Economics Department of the General Administration of Sport of China, introduced that in the first half of this year, a total of 511 key sports events were monitored in seven regions such as Hebei, Zhejiang, and Fujian, driving sports and related consumption to exceed 16 billion yuan, with an average of over 30 million yuan driven per event, playing an important role in expanding domestic demand. She said that events such as "Village Super" and "Zhejiang Basketball Association" have become popular among the masses, with a single game of "Suzhou Super" attracting over 60,000 spectators, driving overall consumption in Jiangsu Province to 38 billion yuan across multiple scenarios, effectively promoting consumption.
