After the statement was released, the union stated that "the matter is not over yet". The union had previously announced that it had filed a lawsuit in Federal Court regarding the federal government's enforcement of arbitration. Due to the ongoing strike by flight attendants, Air Canada has not yet disclosed its plans to resume flights on Monday.
