According to China Railway Group, since the start of the summer travel peak on July 1st, the total number of passengers sent by national railways has exceeded 700 million, reaching 7.12 billion, an increase of 4.1% compared to the same period last year. During the summer travel peak, national railways sent an average of 14.84 million passengers per day, operated an average of 11,298 passenger trains per day, and arranged an average of 573 additional passenger trains per day.
