On August 18, the steel truss girder of the Hanjiang Extra Large Bridge on the Xi'an to Shiyan high-speed railway was successfully connected, marking the completion of the main bridge and tunnel construction of the Xi'Shi high-speed railway, laying a solid foundation for the timely completion and opening of the entire line. The Hanjiang Extra Large Bridge is located in Shiyan City, spanning the Danjiangkou Reservoir area. It is the world's largest span truss beam combination structure high-speed railway cable-stayed bridge, and also a key project along the Xi'Shi high-speed railway line. The bridge is 917.45 meters long, with a main span of 420 meters. Since entering the main construction stage on March 8, 2022, the project constructors have spent 1259 days to successfully complete the construction of the main bridge. The steel truss girder connected this time is 840 meters long, 11 meters wide, and 9.4 meters high, with characteristics such as difficult line control, multiple cross construction operations, and limited lifting space.
