The implementation plan for the "Beijing Municipal Regulations on the Development and Utilization of Renewable Energy" is open for public comments. It mentions promoting the construction of hydrogen infrastructure and its application in multiple fields. It aims to establish a hydrogen infrastructure network covering the entire city and radiating in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Diversified layouts for local hydrogen production pilot projects will be implemented, and integrated station construction for production and hydrogen refueling will be carried out, effectively utilizing the by-product hydrogen purification projects in Yanshan Petrochemicals. Actively planning for green hydrogen transmission pipelines, promoting the construction of the transmission channel for green electricity hydrogen production projects in Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia, and exploring the feasibility of constructing hydrogen transmission pipelines within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Planning, reserving, and optimizing hydrogen refueling facilities within the city based on vehicle development needs and application scenarios. Stepping up efforts to increase the capacity of hydrogen fuel vehicles in the city, improving vehicle dispatch rates and operating mileage, pilot testing hydrogen bicycles in industrial parks in the city, expanding the application scenarios of hydrogen-powered drones, and advancing research and development of hydrogen applications in the aviation sector. Accelerating the establishment of cross-regional hydrogen transportation corridors such as Beijing-Tianjin, Beijing-Tangshan, Beijing-Baoshan, and others in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and surrounding areas, will fast track the layout of hydrogen refueling stations along these corridors.
