NIO's nationwide network of battery swap stations has basically taken shape, entering a new phase of intensified construction and consolidation.

According to Zhitong Finance, on August 16, 2025, Li Bin, the founder, chairman, and CEO of NIO, announced at the Power UP 2025 NIO Power Day that NIO (09866.HK) has already set up 8,167 charging and battery swapping stations nationwide, leading the industry in terms of number of stations. The nationwide network of charging and battery swapping stations by NIO has basically been established and has officially entered a new phase of reinforced construction. On that day, the NIO swapping station located at Mount Everest in Dingri, Tibet, was officially launched and put into operation. This is the 15th swapping station set up by NIO along the G318 Sichuan-Tibet Highway. With the launch of the Mount Everest swapping station, the NIO G318 Sichuan-Tibet swapping route is officially connected. This route is 2,950km long, with an NIO swapping station approximately every 200km. With over 3,400 charging and battery swapping stations nationwide, including over 1,000 on highways, NIO and LeDao users can now swap batteries all the way to Mount Everest.
