Our country has restored over 8.3 million hectares of desertified land.

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, China has completed the protection and restoration of over 8.3 million hectares through the implementation of integrated protection and restoration projects for mountains, rivers, forests, farmland, lakes, grasslands, and deserts. Through carrying out large-scale land greening actions, China has contributed approximately 25% of the global increase in greening area. While continuously increasing and expanding greenery, China, as a major country in sand control, has gained increasing international recognition.
