On Friday's closing session in New York, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond rose by 3.89 basis points to 4.3238%, accumulating a total increase of 4.08 basis points for the week. Before the release of the US PPI data on August 14, the yield had dropped to 4.1979% within three minutes. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond increased by 2.44 basis points to 3.7568%, with a weekly decline of 0.55 basis points. The overall trend displayed a V-shaped pattern, having dropped to 3.6513% before the PPI data was released. The 2/10-year US Treasury yield spread increased by 1.449 basis points to +56.485 basis points, accumulating a total increase of 4.429 basis points for the week.
