At midday close, the Hang Seng Index fell by 1.19% while the Hang Seng Technology Index dropped by 1.08%. The Hong Kong technology ETF (159751) rose by 0.18% while the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) fell by 0.79%. In terms of sectors, the aviation, aerospace and defense, and passenger airline sectors performed well, while the computer and peripheral equipment and entertainment sectors saw declines. In terms of individual stocks, JD Health-R rose by 13.96%, JD Health rose by 13.22%, CITIC Securities rose by 6.44%, China Merchants Securities rose by 5.6%, CITIC Securities rose by 5.57%, Aluminum Corporation of China rose by 5.5%, and CSC Financial rose by 4.51%. JD Logistics fell by 6.73% and Shengye fell by 8.86%. Hongteng Precision Technology rose by 18.97% and Lijin Technology rose by 16.13%.
