Since the beginning of this year, the phenomenon of "no one bidding" for the judicial auction of equity of A-share listed companies has been frequent, and the number of cases of auctions ending without successful bids has significantly increased compared to previous years. According to incomplete statistics, from the beginning of the year to now, the equity of 52 A-share companies has encountered unsuccessful auctions, with the increase rate exceeding 80% compared to the same period last year. Zhong Jian, a senior partner at Shanghai Zhongyin Law Firm, analyzed that the core reasons for the unsuccessful auctions of company equity are often poor business conditions, high bidding requirements, lack of liquidity, and low discount rates.
