China Resources Power (00836.HK) sold a total of approximately 1.23 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from its subsidiary power plants in the first seven months, representing a 5.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
The Zhixin Finance APP news reported that China Resources Power (00836.HK) announced that the sales volume of its subsidiary power plants reached 20,975,595 megawatt-hours in July 2025, an increase of 14.1% year-on-year. Among them, due to the commissioning of new installed capacity and increased power demand driven by high temperatures, the sales volume of subsidiary thermal power plants reached 16,331,696 megawatt-hours, an increase of 17.2% year-on-year; in addition, decreased wind speeds in southern and central China due to high temperatures resulted in a decrease in the sales volume of subsidiary wind farms to 3,430,109 megawatt-hours, a decrease of 5.3% year-on-year; the sales volume of subsidiary photovoltaic power plants reached 1,028,427 megawatt-hours, an increase of 44.8% year-on-year.
