The State Council Information Office held a series of thematic press conferences on "high-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan", and the National Bureau of Statistics introduced the achievements of the development of digital China in the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Liu Liehong, member of the Party Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, introduced that after years of continuous efforts, China has made breakthroughs in a number of key core technologies in the digital field, demonstrating significant development achievements in China. The integrated circuit industry is accelerating its layout, forming a complete industrial chain covering design, manufacturing, packaging testing, and equipment materials; domestically-made operating systems are rising rapidly, with the total number of devices in the HarmonyOS system ecosystem exceeding 1.19 billion, installing "central intelligence" for over 1200 types of products such as mobile phones, cars, and home appliances; and China's overall comprehensive strength in artificial intelligence has achieved a substantial increase, with Chinese artificial intelligence patents accounting for 60% of the global total.
