On the evening of August 13, GAC Group announced that its controlling subsidiary, GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., plans to increase capital by 600 million yuan to Huawei Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. Huawei Automobile is a key move in the deepening cooperation between GAC Group and Huawei, established and invested by GAC Group with deep empowerment from Huawei. According to industry sources, the manufacturing business of Huawei Automobile may be located at GAC Aion Intelligent Eco-Factory.
