Hong Kong and Macau have both issued a typhoon signal number one.

The Hong Kong Observatory issued a No. 1 Standby Signal today, expecting that Typhoon "Yangliu" will stay more than 400 kilometers away from Hong Kong for most of the day today. The No. 1 Standby Signal will be maintained during the day. In addition, the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau also issued a No. 1 Typhoon Signal today in response to the impact of the typhoon.
