Guangxi is classified as a Category I area at risk for Kyasanur Forest Disease.

Recently, the National Health Commission released the "Kyasanur Forest Disease Prevention and Control Technical Guidelines", in which Guangxi was classified as a Level I area for the risk of Kyasanur Forest Disease outbreak, the same level as Guangdong. Various departments in different regions have already taken multiple measures to build a strong barrier against the spread of the disease.
