The Guangdong Provincial Disaster Prevention Headquarters has upgraded the emergency response level for wind prevention to level II.

The official WeChat account of Guangdong Emergency Management has announced that Typhoon "Yangliu", the 11th typhoon of the year, is approaching the eastern coast of Guangdong province, bringing severe winds, rain, and waves. In accordance with the "Guangdong Province Flood Control, Drought Relief, Wind Control, and Cold Protection Emergency Plan" and relevant regulations of the provincial emergency management department, the emergency response level has been raised from level III to level II as of 13:00 on August 13th.
