Typhoon "Willow" made landfall in Taiwan on the 13th, and has already caused some accidents. According to Taiwan Power Company, as of 11 a.m., 2322 households in Taitung County were without electricity. Waves began to appear along the coast of Chiayi at noon, and a tourist was swept away by a wave at Haomei Beach and went missing. Relevant departments have mobilized for rescue operations. The stage of the ocean music festival at Jinlun Beach in Taimali Township was submerged by waves. The township chief is urging people not to approach the seaside today and to stay safe. In addition, a mother and daughter in Fengshan District of Kaohsiung were hit by a tree knocked down by strong winds. Both have been taken to the hospital and are currently not in serious condition.
