People's Bank of China: As of the end of June, the national household consumer loans balance excluding personal housing loans reached 21.2 trillion yuan.

On August 13th, Che Shiye, the person in charge of the credit market department of the People's Bank of China, stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that as of the end of June, the balance of household consumption loans nationwide, excluding personal housing loans, was 21.2 trillion yuan; the balance of loans of key entities in service consumption areas such as accommodation and catering, cultural and entertainment, education, and residential services was 2.8 trillion yuan.
