National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau: The new "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" will be implemented from February 1st next year.
The State Administration of Coal Mine Safety held a press conference on the morning of the 13th to explain and interpret the newly revised "Coal Mine Safety Regulations". The new version of the "Regulations" requires coal mining enterprises to be equipped with technical responsible persons, establish and implement a sound safety technology management system. The new "Regulations" add requirements for the number and education of personnel in disaster prevention and control agencies, specifying that the newly appointed head of a disaster prevention and control agency must have a college degree or above in a coal mining related major, and have more than 5 years of relevant work experience, strengthening the allocation of professional personnel, improving the safety production capacity and level of coal mining enterprises and coal mines.
