"Gold gravity effect" + supply gap pull HSBC raises silver price forecast for 2025-27
According to the China Fortune Finance and Economics APP, analysts at HSBC have raised their forecasts for silver prices in 2025, 2026, and 2027. They pointed out that strong gold prices and the hedging demand arising from a significant amount of geopolitical and economic uncertainty have provided strong support for silver. The bank stated this week that they currently expect the average silver price in 2025 to be raised to $35.14 per ounce, up from the previous forecast of $30.28. For 2026, the forecast is $33.96 per ounce, compared to the previous forecast of $26.95 per ounce. In 2027, the forecast is $31.79 per ounce, compared to the previous expectation of $28.30 per ounce.
