An explosion at a dynamite factory in southern Brazil has killed 9 people.

On August 12th, local time, the Public Security Department of Paran State in southern Brazil confirmed that an explosion occurred at an explosives factory in the city of Curitiba, resulting in 9 deaths and 7 injuries. The explosion occurred in the morning when a group of employees were handling explosive materials being prepared for loading. According to reports, the bodies of the victims were severely damaged and need to be identified through DNA testing. The 7 injured individuals have been treated by medical personnel on site and have all returned home to recover. The Brazilian Ministry of Labor has launched an investigation into the safety conditions of the company involved.
