Huawei and state-owned automotive companies upgrade their comprehensive collaboration on intelligent technology.
The cross-border cooperation between China's traditional automotive industry and intelligent industry has entered a new stage. Zhu Huarong, Chairman of the newly established automotive central enterprise China Chang'an Automobile Group Co., Ltd., recently visited Huawei's headquarters in Shenzhen to meet with Huawei's founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei, to exchange and learn about industry competition trends and future competition patterns. On August 11, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released the sales data for Dongfeng Automobile, a central enterprise, in July. Dongfeng Automobile's joint venture brand with Huawei, Seres, contributed to nearly half of the sales of Dongfeng's new energy vehicles. A relevant person from Dongfeng Automobile told reporters that Dongfeng and Huawei are entering a deepening cooperation stage to achieve full chain collaboration from research and development to market. Industry experts analyze that unlike the relatively long process of electrification, automotive intelligence has entered a rapid development period as soon as it landed. With the acceleration of the popularization of intelligence, the cooperation between automotive central enterprises such as Dongfeng and Chang'an and the intelligent giant Huawei is comprehensively upgrading. This new cross-border cooperation model is not only beneficial for automotive central enterprises to respond to challenges and achieve transformation and development, but also brings new opportunities to Huawei and other companies in the domestic intelligent industry chain.
