CSRC launches securities firms' 2024 annual operational data statistics

The China Securities Industry Association recently launched the annual operating data statistics work for securities companies in 2024, covering 107 securities firms, aiming to comprehensively review the industry's operating situation. The data is mainly taken from the core financial data submitted by securities firms to regulatory agencies earlier, with other related data to be separately submitted to the China Securities Association by the securities firms. The statistical indicators include the average revenue from securities trading agency business in branches, the scale of equity fund sales, revenue from securities investment advisory services, the proportion of equity assets in asset management products, and the proportion of revenue from overseas subsidiary securities business, etc. In 2024, the industry achieved operating revenue of 451.17 billion yuan, with a net profit of 167.26 billion yuan, representing year-on-year growth of 11.2% and 21.3%, respectively.
