It is reported that children's tickets have long bid farewell to the "height era". According to the relevant provisions of the "Railway Passenger Transport Regulations" ticket sales conditions, the purchase of tickets for children to travel is specifically divided into the following 3 situations: 1. Children under 6 years old and not occupying a seat alone: can be carried for free by one accompanying adult with a ticket, without the need to purchase a ticket, but must be declared in advance. When there are more than one child, the extra child must purchase a children's discount ticket. 2. Children who are over 6 years old but under 14 years old: need to purchase a children's discount ticket to enjoy a ticket price discount. 3. Children who are 14 years old or older: need to purchase a full-price ticket, in line with adult rules. Note: Children who ride for free and use a seat alone should purchase a children's discount ticket. According to the above provisions, an adult traveling on a high-speed train with four children needs to purchase at least one adult ticket and three children's discount tickets. If the children riding for free need to use a seat alone, then an additional children's discount ticket should be purchased.
