On August 11, 2025, Wang Changlin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, met with Brazilian Minister of Regional Integration, Ges, and his delegation in Beijing. They had in-depth exchanges on regional policies, regional coordinated development, sustainable development, and other issues of common concern between China and Brazil. Representatives from the Brazilian Ministry of Regional Integration, the Embassy in China, the Industrial Development Bureau, the Office for Business Promotion, and the Amazon Bank attended the meeting. After the meeting, the two sides signed the "Memorandum of Understanding between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Regional Integration of the Federative Republic of Brazil on conducting exchange and cooperation on regional policies."
