"Regulations on Grain Security Guarantee in Shandong Province" will be implemented starting from September 1st.

The 16th meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial People's Congress recently passed the "Shandong Provincial Grain Security Guarantee Regulations", proposing to strengthen the construction of high-standard farmland, promote the high-quality development of the seed industry, support the creation of grain industry clusters, and promote the construction of a higher level "Qilu Grain Warehouse." The regulations will be implemented from September 1, 2025. It mentions that the provincial government should organize the formulation and implementation of seed industry development plans, enhance seed industry scientific and technological innovation capabilities, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, improve incentives for seed industry development, coordinate and solve major problems in seed industry work, and promote the healthy development of modern seed industry.
