Wisdom Finance APP news, Universe One (01616.HK) announced that the company received a statutory demand for repayment from a creditor acting through a legal advisor on August 8, 2025, in accordance with the Company (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance (Chapter 32 of the Laws of Hong Kong) section 178(1)(a). The demand requires the company to pay 33.92 million Hong Kong dollars (the outstanding principal amount and accrued interest on bonds issued by the company to the creditor) within three weeks from the date of service of the statutory demand, otherwise the creditor may apply for winding up of the company.
