UBS: Raised price target for S&P 500 index but expects it to decline for the remainder of 2025.

UBS strategist Banu Bavari has raised the target for the S&P 500 index at the end of 2025 to 6100 points, and set the target for 2026 at 6800 points. Despite the strong performance of the US economy and corporations, and some relief in tariff risks, UBS expects that due to slowing economic growth, the index will be lower at the end of 2025 than its current level, then will recover by the end of 2026.
