According to Vietnam News Agency, Ho Chi Minh City Development Research Institute is calling on electric car manufacturers and investors to propose support plans to encourage the widespread use of electric vehicles in Vietnam, a commercial hub. Companies invited to provide suggestions include VinGroup, VinFast Automobile Limited Company, Grab Holdings, Honda, and Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Bank. The institute's suggestions include providing special discounts for electric vehicles, old car exchange programs, low-interest installment payments, and investment in building charging or battery swapping stations and other infrastructure.
