Ho Chi Minh City calls for support measures to promote the popularization of electric vehicles.

According to a report from a Vietnamese news website, the Ho Chi Minh City Development Research Institute has called on electric car manufacturers and investors to propose support plans to encourage the widespread adoption of electric vehicles in Vietnam, a commercial hub. Companies invited to provide suggestions include VinGroup, VinFast Automobile Limited Company, Grab Holdings, Honda, and Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank. The recommendations from the Ho Chi Minh City Development Research Institute include offering special discounts for electric vehicles, old car trade-in programs, low-interest installment payments, and investing in the construction of charging or battery swapping stations and other infrastructure.
