According to the financial news app Securities Times, Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association, stated in an article that in June 2025, the national second-hand car market transaction volume was 1.6575 million units, a month-on-month increase of 3% and a year-on-year increase of 9%. The transaction amount was 106.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%. From January to June 2025, the cumulative transaction volume of the second-hand car market was 9.57 million units, a year-on-year increase of 2%, with a transaction value of 623.2 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.3%.
