"Regulations on Promoting the Development of Intelligent Robots Industry in Hangzhou City" are open for public comment.

The Judicial Bureau of Hangzhou City has issued a public announcement soliciting opinions on the "Regulations on Promoting the Development of Embodied Intelligent Robot Industry in Hangzhou City", incorporating the embodied intelligent robot industry into the city's policy support framework. It aims to enhance policy cohesion through institutional design and further regulate the path of high-quality development of the industry. It is pointed out that, in the face of current research and training needs and future widespread application needs of embodied intelligent robots, it is required to strengthen the planning and layout of network and computing infrastructure, establish a diverse intelligent computing supply service system, improve the efficiency of computing resource utilization, and reduce computing costs. The main research direction of core technologies is clarified, focusing on the three core components of embodied intelligence - the "brain", "cerebellum", and "body", as well as bottleneck segments such as specialized chips. It aims to create a platform for technology breakthroughs, support the construction and operation of major scientific and technological infrastructure, key laboratories, and other R&D platforms related to embodied intelligent robots, and encourage the opening of scientific research facilities and instruments to enterprises.
