On August 10th, it was learned from Jinshan District, Shanghai that the construction of the Jinshan Offshore Wind Farm has made new progress. At 14:28 on August 8th, with the completion of the installation of the final blade, all 36 turbines of the first phase of the Jinshan Offshore Wind Farm were installed, marking a key milestone in the project and laying a solid foundation for full capacity grid-connected power generation later this year. The first phase of the Jinshan Offshore Wind Farm project is the first competitive offshore wind power project in the country with a price lower than the benchmark coal price. It consists of 36 turbines with a single unit capacity of 8.5 megawatts, making it the largest offshore wind farm in Shanghai in terms of single unit capacity.
