Guangdong: In July, the year-on-year CPI decreased by 0.3% and the year-on-year PPI decreased by 2.0%.

On August 10, the data released by the Guangdong Survey Office of the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in July 2025, the consumer price index of Guangdong residents decreased by 0.3% year-on-year, narrowing by 0.1 percentage point from the previous month; on a monthly basis, it changed from a 0.2% decrease to a 0.5% increase compared to the previous month. From January to July, the average CPI in Guangdong decreased by 0.4% compared to the same period last year. In July 2025, the industrial producer price index in Guangdong decreased by 2.0% year-on-year, with a widening decrease of 0.2 percentage points compared to the previous month; on a monthly basis, it decreased by 0.2%, narrowing by 0.1 percentage point compared to the previous month. The industrial producer purchase price index in Guangdong decreased by 4.1% year-on-year and 0.3% month-on-month. From January to July, on average, the PPI in Guangdong decreased by 1.4% and the IPI decreased by 2.8%.
