Beijing's Yizhuang district has launched a smart society experimental plan, with the first batch of 20 training sites set to open this month.

The 2025 World Robot Conference is being held in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. At the "Industrial Development" main forum of the 2025 World Robot Conference on August 9th, Wang Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, introduced that Beijing Yizhuang has launched the Embodied Intelligence Society Experiment Program, aiming to create a comprehensive training ground for human-machine collaboration and integrated research and development, accelerating the entry of embodied intelligent robots into thousands of households and serving hundreds of industries. Wang Lei further explained that Beijing Yizhuang has opened up nearly a thousand real-life data collection points in supermarkets, hotels, pharmacies, hospitals, logistics warehouses, and other facilities within Yizhuang New Town. "The first batch of 20 embodied intelligence training grounds and nearly a hundred points will officially open this month."
