According to Brunei Muara Port Limited, the project plans to expand the container berths at Muara Port by adding new shorelines, and in the future will renovate and upgrade the existing container terminal and multipurpose terminal, significantly increasing the container handling capacity of Muara Port and better serving Brunei's economic and trade development and the construction of the "Belt and Road" cooperation.
