ACWA Power will build a power and desalination plant in Kuwait.

ACWA Power and Gulf Investment Corporation have signed an agreement with the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water and the Partnerships Technical Bureau for the second and third phases of the Zour North Power Station project. The consortium will be responsible for the design, financing, construction, operation, and handover of the project. A joint stock company will be established by both parties to execute the project. The power station will be responsible for energy production and desalination of seawater.
