Henan issues yellow warning for geological disaster meteorological risk.

On August 9th at 3pm, the Henan Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Henan Provincial Meteorological Bureau continued to jointly issue a yellow alert for geological disaster meteorological risk. It is expected that from 8pm on August 9th to 8pm on August 10th, 8 provincial cities including Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Pingdingshan, Xuchang, Sanmenxia, Nanyang, Xinyang, and Zhumadian, and 36 counties in Henan Province have a higher risk of geological disasters such as landslides, collapses, and debris flows. The risk warning reminds relevant departments in the areas involved to closely monitor changes in rainfall and flood conditions, timely issue warning information, strengthen inspections and risk assessments, and make early preparations for the evacuation of threatened populations.
