The disclosure of the semi-annual reports for 2025 has begun, revealing the institutional shareholding trends of listed companies, and attracting attention to the exposure of qualified overseas institutional investors' shareholdings. According to statistics, as of 10 pm on August 8, 2025, among the over 170 companies that have disclosed their 2025 semi-annual reports, 44 companies have QFII holdings. As of June 30, 2025, the total number of shares held by QFII in these 44 companies exceeded 270 million, an increase of over 260,000 shares compared to the previous period; the market value of the holdings is close to 4.8 billion yuan, an increase of over 700 million yuan compared to the previous period. How is the holding profit? Taking the companies that obtained new QFII holdings in the second quarter of this year as a sample, comparing the latest closing price with the average transaction price in the second quarter of this year to calculate holding profits based on the number of shares held. The results show that three institutions, UBS Group, Barclays Bank, and Morgan Stanley International Limited, all have unrealized gains of over 49 million yuan.
