Reporters learned from the National Space Administration's Lunar and Aerospace Engineering Center that Chinese scientists have revealed the "ultra-reducing" state of the lunar mantle at the landing site of the Chang'e-6 spacecraft through research on basalt samples collected from the far side of the moon. This indicates that these lunar mantles are more primitive or have been affected by large impacts. The related findings have recently been published in an international academic journal.
