CFA: The total cash dividends of A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen in 2024 were 2.4 trillion yuan.

On August 8th, the China Listed Companies Association released the latest data showing that the total cash dividends of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies in 2024 will reach 2.4 trillion yuan, an increase of 9% compared to 2023. There are 9 listed companies with cash dividends exceeding 50 billion yuan in 2024, and 33 listed companies with dividends exceeding 10 billion yuan. There are 61 listed companies with dividends exceeding 5 billion yuan. The number and proportion of companies with consecutive dividends in 2024 have increased compared to the same period last year. Among the 4445 Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies listed for more than three years, 2447 have had consecutive cash dividends in the past three years, an increase of 12% compared to 2023; among the 3569 listed companies listed for more than five years, 1681 have had consecutive cash dividends in the past five years, an increase of 6% compared to 2023, with 210 companies experiencing consecutive dividend growth in the past five years.
