The Ministry of Water Resources and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued a yellow alert for mountain flood disasters at 18:00 on August 8. It is predicted that from 20:00 on August 8 to 20:00 on August 9, mountainous areas in central and eastern Shandong, northwestern Hubei, northern Sichuan, southern Shaanxi, central and southern Gansu, and southeastern Qinghai may experience mountain flood disasters. In particular, there is a high possibility of mountain flood disasters occurring in northwestern Hubei.
