This year, the number of car subsidy applications for trading in old cars for new ones in Hubei Province has exceeded 210,000 vehicles.

At a press conference held by the Hubei Provincial Government Information Office, it was learned that as of August 1st, the number of applications for subsidies for trading in old cars for new ones in Hubei Province in 2025 exceeded 210,000 vehicles, directly driving new car consumption to 32.5 billion yuan. In the first half of the year, the province's retail sales of automobiles increased by 3.2% year-on-year, surpassing the national average by 2.4 percentage points. Among the new vehicles purchased through the old-for-new policy, over 56% are new energy passenger cars, accelerating the transformation of automobile consumption towards green and intelligent direction.
