The inspection and guidance team of the Ministry of Transport conducted a thorough investigation in Jilin, and found 79 hidden risks and hazards.

Recently, the third group of the inspection and guidance team of the Ministry of Transport went to Jilin Province to carry out inspection and guidance work on the investigation and rectification of major risks in transportation safety production during the flood and summer seasons. The inspection and guidance team visited 19 counties in 6 prefecture-level cities including Changchun, Jilin, Songyuan, Tonghua, Baishan, and Siping, and conducted verification checks on 39 units, identifying a total of 79 risks, including 3 major issues. During the inspection, it was found that the inspection of the Hunchun Grand Bridge on the Jianshui to Shuangliao Expressway was not timely, the special inspection was not carried out promptly after the major flood in July 2024, and the risk investigation work was not solid. At the construction site of the car overpass girder in section K139+617 of YNTJ-05 in the Jilin Urban Circle West Ring Expressway, the pedestrian ladder foundation was not properly grounded and not rigidly connected to the pier, and the duty room was within the radius of overturning of the drilling rig, with insufficient safety distance. The maintenance of passenger vehicles at the Meihukou City Passenger Bus Terminal was not timely, and some vehicles did not have fire extinguishers placed as required in the rear.
