Warner Bros. explores a 38% increase in theater revenue in the second quarter.
Warner Bros. Discovery Company's earnings in the second quarter were boosted by several box office hit films from its movie studios. The company stated that from April to June, movies such as "Minecraft: The Movie", "The Sinner", "Final Destination: Blood Curse", and "F1: Fast and Furious" were released, and these films have collectively grossed $2 billion in global box office revenue so far. Warner Bros. Discovery Company reported that the movie studio division, including TV content distribution, saw a 55% increase in total revenue during the quarter, reaching $3.8 billion; excluding the impact of currency exchange rates, theater revenue increased by 38% due to the growth in box office revenue.
