According to the Zhengzhou Meteorological Observatory, at 13:20 on August 7, 2025, a red rainstorm warning signal was issued for the Central Plains area: Due to the slow movement of a strong convective cloud system, Zhengzhou's Central Plains area has experienced heavy rainfall of over 100 millimeters in some areas. It is expected that in the next 3 hours, most of the towns and streets in the Central Plains area will continue to experience rainfall, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds, and other severe convective weather, with some areas possibly receiving up to 150 millimeters. Please be alert to prevent secondary disasters such as urban waterlogging caused by heavy rainfall.
