According to the website of the People's Government of Hubei Province, on August 6th, the 12th Committee of the Communist Party of China Hubei Provincial Committee held its tenth plenary session in Wuhan. Wang Zhonglin, the Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, emphasized the need to highlight increasing momentum, and steadfastly build a strong engine as the pivot. The focus should be on "nurturing new quality, activating vitality, preventing risks, and improving governance", coordinating the comprehensive reform of the education, science and technology, and talent system mechanisms, deepening reforms in the financial system, state-owned assets and enterprises, and investment and financing systems, accelerating the development of new quality productive forces, actively exploring effective paths for modernizing provincial governance. Efforts should be made to expand high-level opening up, adhere to the combination of "short-term response, medium-term expansion, long-term transformation", strengthen enterprise assistance with "one enterprise, one strategy", vigorously promote the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, and build a new inland opening highland. The promotion of new urbanization with a people-centered approach, strengthening the economic strength of county-level areas with production as the foundation, promoting comprehensive rural revitalization with integration as the focus, accelerating the construction of modern people's cities, nurturing and expanding county-level characteristic industry clusters, and promoting the construction of six major systems including village-wealth-producing industries and rural revitalization to promote urban-rural integration development.
