The impact of artificial intelligence on the American financial market is evident. NVIDIA has become the world's most valuable company with a market value of nearly $4.5 trillion. Startups such as OpenAI and Anthropic have raised billions of dollars in funding. However, investors are increasingly concerned about the negative impact of this new technology: it may disrupt industries just like the internet did in the past. Investors have begun to bet on which industries will be disrupted, leading to a sell-off of stocks of companies that analysts predict will face declining demand as artificial intelligence applications become more widespread. Companies affected include website development firm Wix.com Ltd., digital image company Shutterstock Inc., and software manufacturer Adobe Inc. These three companies are among the 26 companies most susceptible to the influence of artificial intelligence in the eyes of Bank of America strategists. Since the launch of ChatGPT at the end of 2022, the trends of these 26 companies have been largely in line with the overall market, but since mid-May of this year, this group's performance has lagged behind the S&P 500 index by about 22 percentage points.
