TSMC hit its largest intraday gain in almost two months.

TSMC's Taiwan stock rose by nearly 3.6%, marking the largest intra-day increase in nearly two months and driving the Taiwan Weighted Index up by 1.9%. Morgan Stanley said that TSMC's investment commitment to US wafer factories should receive exemptions or extensions on US semiconductor tariffs, which is better than what most investors had feared.
