The warehousing index in China was 50.1% in July, maintaining expansion for nine consecutive months.
The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced the Chinese Warehousing Index for July today. Due to the impact of high temperatures and heavy rainfall, the demand for warehousing business is relatively weak, but the Warehousing Index has remained in the expansion zone for nine consecutive months, showing that the warehousing industry as a whole is in good operating condition. The Warehousing Index for July was 50.1%, a decrease of 0.9 percentage points from the previous month, indicating continued expansion in the warehousing industry, but with a slower growth rate. In terms of demand, the New Orders Index was 50%, a decrease of 1.6 percentage points from the previous month, showing that the growth of new orders has slowed down due to weather factors. In particular, the demand for bulk commodity warehousing business has rebounded against the trend, especially for new orders of non-ferrous metals and chemical products, which have seen a significant increase.
